Irving Penn, Up Close
Irving Penn has been called one of the great portrait photographers of the 20th century. To honor Penn's work, the Morgan Library & Museum in New York is showcasing 67 of the photographer's images in a collection entitled Close Encounters, which runs from Jan. 18, 2008 through April 13, 2008. Here's a selection of his work for Vogue.
